Synopsis: Godfrey Roofing Inc. installed a 12 Kilowatt DC (10 kW AC) photovoltaic system. This solar system is tied directly into the structural supports of the building and feeds electricity back into the grid.
Ashbury College
Services Provided: Green Roofing
Synopsis: Asbury College’s multiphase green roof project is to be completed in the spring of 2011. The green roofing components were installed over a modified bitumen membrane and involved many complicated elements. Completing the work prior to the commencement of the school year and limited accessibility for material loading are issues that had to be addressed. Once completed, this LEED project will become one of the first outdoor classrooms in Canada.

Metro
Services Provided: Roof Replacement
Synopsis: Godfrey Roofing Inc. installed a ballasted EPDM membrane on this roof replacement project. The downtown setting and congested parking area made our site safety planning especially important. In order to keep our client’s costs down we replaced only insulation that was damaged or deteriorated.
Elmvale Shopping Center
Services Provided: Roof Repair, Roof Replacement
Synopsis: The building’s built up roof membrane was in need of replacement as it could no longer be repaired cost effectively. This roof replacement project also involved repairing and replacing parts of the decking. Site safety as well as minimal disruption to store owners was essential.
Fisher Plaza
Services Provided: Roof Replacement
Synopsis: Our company removed the existing cedar shingles that were on the mall and installed new high quality architectural laminate shingles. The hidden trough system received a new EPDM membrane. The new shingles greatly improved this commercial site’s curb appeal.
Orleans Gardens

Synopsis: Godfrey Roofing Inc. installed a modified bitumen roof system for this shopping plaza. We were able to provide cost savings to the owners by saving and re-using some of the roof system components.
